The approach
Jack begins with positive, reward-based training. The wider approach is shaped by the dog’s behaviour, temperament, environment and the owner’s goals.
There is no single method or tool that suits every dog. If Jack believes a corrective training tool may be helpful, he will explain why, demonstrate its use and ask permission before proceeding.
Owners remain part of the training throughout. Jack provides practical exercises and videos so the work can continue correctly at home.
About Jack
Jack spent ten years in the British Army, including seven years working with military working dogs.
His experience includes handling German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois in demanding environments. Today he works with puppies, adult dogs and their owners throughout South West London.
Jack personally carries out every consultation and training session, giving clients one consistent point of contact from the first conversation onwards. He is fully insured and canine first-aid trained.

Yes. The initial 30-minute telephone call and the subsequent in-person consultation are both free, with no obligation to continue.
Training can take place at home, on local walks, in parks or across a combination of environments. Jack travels throughout the Battersea K9 service area at no additional charge.
Yes. Jack works with puppies through private and group training. Puppies attending group sessions must have completed their required vaccinations.
Yes. Jack works with reactivity, anxiety, confidence and unwanted behaviour, as well as obedience and everyday training.
